2 things about me you didn’t know (or maybe you did actually but hey I’ll say it anyway!). A. I am all for the ‘chic & classy’ look. B. I do love a bit of bling too.
And these are my favourite pieces. They only come out at the weekend since I work in a fairly corporate environment but when the bling comes out, you know there’s going to be partying & dancing involved!
OK so these aren’t expensive pieces at all. In fact, investing in jewellery isn’t my thing at all and I would much rather have loads of options so my favourite points of call in the bling department are H&M, New Look and River Island!
Love hoop earrings (the bigger, the better), love the whole rapper – gold chain thing and I do also like the more girlie/flowery look.
Wanna show me your bling?! (did that sound a bit dodgy?) Tag me in your post!
So this post kinda of started off with an Instagram challenge where I was tagged by the beautiful beauty blogger Jamie from Its Just Me (check her youtube channel here!)
I thought the tag was a really cool one and one that would allow me to update all of my followers on my new favourite lip products!
– Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Vernis a Levre in #31 (here)
– Glam Gals Lip Gloss Matte in #LIM21 (here)
– Kiko 3D Intense Volume Lip Gloss in #213 (here)
– Isadora Twist-Up Gloss Stick in #09CherryPie (here)
– Dior Rouge Balm in #468Spring (here)
Can’t wait to check out your top 5. Do tag me in your post!
For my first skincare post in what seems like ages, I thought I’d share my current favourite skincare bits. I’ve been using these for over 3 months now and absolutely love them!
Here we go:
Sephora Liquid Moisturizing Skin Concentrate – a toner/serum/concentrate all in one?! Love the concept. Applied with a cotton pad, easy peasy lemon squeazy. Moisturised and glowy looking skin in no time!
Sephora Radiance Cleansing Foam – Does a great job cleasing my skin without over drying it. You do need to use an oil-based cleanser to remove heavy make-up first though but as a morning cleanser, it’s a great product and a total bargain!
Le Jour De Chanel – I did splurge a bit on this one. I kind of liked the idea of treating my skin to something a little special. I bought it back in December, have used it every single morning since and I still have loads left! Besides, it does somehow make my skin look good! Hefty price but worth every $$$!!
The Body Shop Vitamine E Overniight Serum-in-Oil – Believe I’ve tried quite a few overnight oils, mainly because I’m lazy and really like the idea of applying just one product before hitting my pillow. And from all of those I’ve tried, this one is by far my favourite one! And it helps that it is one of the cheapest ;). Not too greasy, smells really good and I usually wake up to really really good skin. Like seriously. Try it!
Elizabeth Arden Visible Different Moiturising Eye Cream – I recently went through a bit of a phase where i wasn’t getting as much sleep as I would have liked which left me with nasty little lines under the eyes so I went on the internet, got googling and opted to try this one out! A fab product! Love love it. No more lines, no puffiness and no shadows. BAM!
Right, I hope I’ve inspired you to try one or a few of these amazing products. If I have, please do tell! Would love to hear your thoughts!
Shall we talk make-up next?! For real.
It’s now been a month and a bit since I last posted on my blog and well, my last post wasn’t a very exciting one wasn’t it?! I owe you all a bit of an apology for the silent treatment. Those past few months have been, well, a bit crazy.
I had kind of lost my mojo there and just didn’t feel I could dedicate myself to create interesting and blog-worthy content so opted to take a bit of a blogging vacay.
But that’s all over now and you Glam Crush Gal is back in the game and ready to roll (blog)!!
So what’s to come? Well, I’ve got some skincare updates to share, some recent purchases (make-up, bling, shoes) and you know what?! MORE fashion. Yes more outfit posts, more hauls etc…
I can’t wait to start posting again!
It’s been a while since I last posted a blog post. You must be wondering where I’ve been! Well, I wanted to re-assure everyone, I’m still here. Still love all things beauty & fashion. I do! I’ve just had to deal with a few changes in my personal life which has made it a bit difficult to focus and re-connect.
I’m all good though and definitely starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel so will be back on the blogging wagon very soon I promise!
Until then, lots of kisses & hugs to you all
